{weathery}

Sunday Morning the desert bid us a fond farewell with a wonderful downpour of rain and hail.
The smell reminded me of my childhood.
Just like fresh dirt.

We detoured through the Salt River Canyon due to talk of snow on The Rim.
We were met there with a steady drizzle.
Lovely.

We pulled up to the drive around two o'clock.
All the snow had melted except for what had fallen on our driveway.
It was as if it had toughed out the sun in hopes of greeting us.
And it did.
And then The Hubby shoveled it away.

Monday was a blustery day.
The snow did come.
It was just that the wind swept it away in a wild flurry before it had time to settle in.

Apparently the wind slept in that night.

Tuesday Morning I opened our front door to meet this chilly visitor.

Bossy Pants could not wait to drag his daddy out the door and into all the beautiful fluffy snow.

He had himself a beautiful day.

Wow that snow looks absolutely delicious and I love the picture of your husband and son, fantastic! Thanks for your wishes for my fellow Aussies going through such hard time with the bushfires. I appreciate your thoughts and you know what they are going through.
