a day in june

it has been hotter than hotcakes the past few days. even with our overcast skies today, i was still sweltering. garrett's plan of attack against the heat: why sit in an ice chest of course!

the boys were bone dry at this point of the day, but still felt it appropriate to don their woody and buzz towels. and i ask you, why not?

otter pops have been a staple of our summer. come by, we have plenty! and maybe if you are lucky the boys will act out part of their 'buzz lightyear to the rescue' sequence for you.

have i mentioned a few million times that i love being a mother? i most surely do.

and that is what our day looked like.

Monsoon season has arrived! I love our summers (better here than Phoenix!), but I hate the close, muggy feeling right before it rains. The rain is lovely, though!

Did you make those buzz and woody towels? I wouldn't be surprised if made them...you are ever so talented. The Brodster would LOVE one- he also plays the "to infinity and beyond" game.
Thanks for the comment about Dorothy! You are just too nice.
