One Fine Day::August 1999

Happy 14th birthday to me! And a farewell to my last summer spent in the super rad 90's. {I know you're diggin' the fabulous socks paired with my FAVORITE blue and orange Skechers...which happened to be all the rage. I think.}
My best friend at the time, Amie, had a surprise birthday party for me at her house. It was so much fun. I remember feeling like I was so old. Getting ready to start my year as a big bad 8th grader and FINALLY attending Stake dances!
Woo hoo!
After we had our fun there my mom picked us up and drove our so old hineys to Wal-Mart to have our pictures taken. I wish I could find those! As I recall, for our last picture we grabbed one of the Wal-Mart employees {whom we all found deliciously hunky} and stuck him front and center as we all stared breathlessly at him.
Yep. That's how cool we were.
I still see most of these girls on occasion. It's so crazy to see how all our lives have taken us down different paths. We really are getting old now.
Simple were the days when all that mattered were hot boys, cool socks and stake dances every other Saturday.
Good times. Good times.

The ones from Wally World! I think I actually had one. I really can't believe how time flies! Love ya lots! P.S. I am officially going to get an x-ray done next week to find my missing object!
