{happy heart}

Bossy Pants eyed the bright wrappings all morning.

But he never touched them.

"Do you want to open your gifts?" I finally offered after the boys were fed and properly clad in love red.

"Yaw!" the two year old cheered.

This simple word trumps all other affirmatives.

"Yes", "yeah" and "okay" are all appropriate when discussing trifle matters.

But when things really count, when he is truly dedicated, the only fitting word is a very enthusiastic "yaw!"

Feeling happy that these simple gifts were a success, I scurried to catch up with the two year old.

He was already perched in a chair when Baby Boy and I arrived.

Daddy was just behind us.

The plump seven month old was positioned near the small pile, and the unravelling commenced.

The two year old was obliged to do all the work whilst Baby Boy gnawed at his hand. One of heavens greatest gifts you know.

The "Bonge Bob" bubbles were a big hit. The Matchbox car and the movie were close seconds.

The scene ended with a frosting of tissue paper and two sweet grins as the cherry on top.

What a wonderful day.
What a happy heart I have.
