A productive day!

So there is finally a gym in Heber! Something I have wished for since the day I moved here as a newlywed! So why you might ask has it taken me so long to get my booty down there?! Good question! Well monday morning I finally did it! I woke up at 5:00, put my hair in a ponytail, slipped on some running shoes and kissed my men good bye! I fit in my cardio and a very minimal work out with the weights and headed home to find that Gage had already woke up. Regardless of the fact that I had less sleep than a normal day I felt GREAT all day long! I was like the little engine that could! I cleaned Gage's closet...that was a task!....I did laundry out my ears, cleaned the office closet, vaccuumed my entire house, made baby shower invites for my sister-in-law's shower, played and played with my little man and managed to have dinner made by 6:30! (Which Gage and I had to enjoy without Matt because he's been working in Show Low and doesn't get home until nearly 8:00!) So I found myself amazed at the difference that a little "get-up-and-go" could make for me! I LOVE it! I am now determined to stick to my gym visits at least 4 days a week!

And here are some random thoughts:

*This weekend I got to see my best friend in the whole world, Toni, and her little man (my unofficial godson, Grant) which was really nice! They live in WYOMING now and we rarely see eachother. It wasn't a long visit by any means but it was nice to see them for a little while at least! She is a way better friend than me and already had a little baby gift for us which was adorable! So thanks Toni! I love them!

*It was such a relief to finish the baby shower announcements! I am such a nerd and love to do things like this. I'm always anxious for anyone to have the smallest accomplishment in their lives so I have some excuse to coordinate a party! ha ha And I would say making me a little nephew definitley qualifies as an accomplishment!

*And lastly I cannot wait to get out in our yard and get it looking good again! The weather is so nice today...I'm definitley getting a touch of spring fever! I'll be breaking out the rake and shovel soon and getting down to business! That's something Gage will surely enjoy doing with me!

Mandy & I go to the gym every MWF at 5:30 and there is just something about getting up early and getting in a good work-out-you just seem to get more done!! I hate the days we don't go. I hope you keep it up:)

Way to go Ashley. I have been going with my dad five days a week and sometimes its a little tiring but I can always tell the difference in my day when I do. Just sneak a little nap in everyday when Gage does and you will be feeling top notch and you won't burn yourself out, especially in your condition. I'm impressed.
