twenty and five and a book

so it's my birthday! and not just any birthday mind you. i have been waiting my entire life to turn twenty-five. i always figured that by the time i was twenty-five i would have the world figured out and sitting at my feet. funny how things aren't always what they seem when you're six years old.

but mission accomplished. now i'm going to have to come up with some other life goal that only requires my staying alive and not a whole lot more. what's my new goal? thirty-eight? thirty-eight sounds like a pleasant number.

what was your favorite age so far?

in other news, i just finished reading charlie st. cloud. i actually really enjoyed it. it was sweet and inspiring. kind of sad though, not going to lie. now i'm going to have to watch the movie and see how it compares.

and now i need a new book! any suggestions?

Hello Ash! How are you my dear? Happy Happy Birthday to you! Twenty-five was a tough bday for me and I am embarrased to say why. At 25 I am officially 1/4 of the way to be guarenteed dead. Isn't that pleasant of me to think that way. I am really not demented or anything, but I just thought of that one time and it made me feel stress. How lovely to sit and read. I have never heard of Charlie St. Cloud. Does that mean I am totally out of the loop? Right now I am reading Persuasion by Jane Austin and I am loving every minute of it. I can see how some would find it slow, but for some reason I can't get enough. My mom bought me the movie for my birthday because I love Pride and Prejudice and Emma, but I have never had any experience with Persuasion. So far I am pleasantly pleased. If you like Pride and Prejudice let me know because I have another set of books that I think you would love. I hope you had a great birthday and I will chat with you soon! Love you!

Happy Birthday!!! I really can't say that I have had a favorite age...YET! I dream of what it will be like in 6 years when all 12 kids will be in school and Ill have ALL day to do whatever I want...but then I also dream of what it will be like 18 years from now when all 12 of our kids are HOPEFULLY out of the house...but then I'm sure not too many years after that I will wonder where all the years have gone and think back and realize that these were the good years!!!!

I think I have to agree I have enjoyed being 25. I have two handsome boys and can say that I am very happy. I only wish I could be 25 and look like I did when I was 19!!! Now that would make 25 perfect!

Happy Birthday, Ash! I hope you had an awesome one! As for age, I freak out every single birthday. I have an aging complex! Now for books, have you read the Percy Jackson series? The first book was just okay but they get sooooo good! Madame Bovary is AWESOME too; it is so depressing though! I just started Cold Mountain so I'll let ya know how that is! Ella Enchanted is super good. It's one of those feel good fun books!
