can someone please tell me where the last three weeks have gone to? i can hardly believe that thanksgiving has come and gone, gage's school-free week has come to an end and we are just days away from our 25 days til christmas countdown. no i certainly do not have an advent calendar ready. tisk tisk.
thanksgiving day was a chilly one. we haven't had many of those days here so to me it felt like a tender mercy on my behalf. it made my second year away from our little mountain home just a little more homey. the boys played outside and gathered leaves as i cooked up our offerings to the thanksgiving feast. they came in with red noses and great big smiles. i loved it!
we had a great dinner with my brother and sister-in-law's little family and the hubby's parents who came in from arizona. i wish i had taken a picture of the turkey. it was sad to see it carved, it was just so pretty! we are so thankful for all of our wonderful family! those we could spend the holiday with and those who we were missing. {which was many!}
our little kelsie gal will be three weeks old tomorrow and we are so in love with her. we just can't help ourselves. she has been such a sweet sweet baby. in three short weeks it already feels like she's been here all along.
