three months

happy three months of life to our squishy little sister lady.

as you can see, the five-year-old has mastered the art of carrying her, despite her large stature. she is not entirely sure how she feels about it yet.

the three-year-old makes sure not to miss out on any wardrobe changes, as he feels it his calling in life to make sure that she is well dressed. well dressed meaning that she is wearing something pink and/or fluffy and that overall is fit for a princess. because try as i might to avoid falling into that princess trap, i just don't think i can win.

fine i'll say it, she's our princess.

on another note, and unrelated to anything i have said so far, i have to own up to some geographically influenced changes i've been going through. i have recently been known {on more than one occasion} to refer to the shopping cart as "the buggy" and just a few weeks ago i asked someone "so where are ya'll from?" i then promptly slapped both hands over my mouth as if i had just cursed in front of my mother. since then i have been considering private speech lessons. so if i roll into arizona with a southern drawl and an infant caked in zebra print and enormous sparkly bows, do not be alarmed folks. do not be alarmed.

and that's all.

happy monday!

xoxo. ash

hahahahahahahaha!! That's awesome! I've lived in Texas my entire life and I still slap my hands over my mouth if I slip and say ya'll. I will admit, I do say "buggy". Not all the time, but I do say it.

Your little princess is nothing short of perfect. And I love how your boys make such a fuss about what she wears. That's precious!! Happy 3 months, little one.

She's precious!! And the little 'slips' made in speech is so normal, I think. I spent 18 months in Oklahoma a very long time ago and came home with an 'Okie' accent... too funny!
